CASA RURAL LOS CASTROS
Los Castros is a rural accommodation that is rented by rooms. Located in one of the most beautiful and privileged enclaves in the province of Burgos, it combines the history of its walls with the modernity of the elements used in its restoration.
The house was built in the 18th century for the Counts of Castro.
It is characterized by having the construction elements of the area: stone, wood and adobe. The high quality of the walls is noteworthy.
The construction can be considered as an example of popular architecture from the 18th century integrated into the villa. It is a protected asset within the Historic Complex of Covarrubias.
It has 3 floors in which 5 rooms of different colors are distributed:
- Ground floor: the living room with fireplace and various rooms, a wide distributor, the common toilet and the dining room are located. In its decoration, the popular and typical construction elements of the typical house in the center of Covarrubias have been promoted.
- First floor: there are two double bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two beds) with their respective bathrooms.
- Second floor: it houses three other double rooms (two with a double bed and the other with two beds), each with a private bathroom.
The concept of comfort and well-being is completed with breakfast, included in the price of the room. We also try to give the most information on cultural, nature, gastronomic routes, etc.
